Help support our upcoming production of GIRLS TALKING. This original production was written collaboratively by Lindsey Hertel and Samantha Alarcon. Although this theatrical piece witnesses two women attempting to stage a production of Macbeth, the real heart of the work lies in the story of connection and the healing power of feminine friendships. Using comedy, pastiche, and a touch of absurdism, this work reminds audiences that no (wo)man is an island. Even the most independent among us need to ask for help and the links that bind us to our community are the key to our survival. Moments of connection can be the key to healing.
Pizza Chapel was born in early 2016 in a backyard in East Dallas. Since then, cofounders Lindsey Hertel, Samantha Alarcon, and August Edwards have taken this ship further than they ever could have imagined, but not without the help of each patron and supporter along the way.
Doing it yourself has never meant doing it alone. It's because of this mantra that we have chosen to adopt an option for monthly support for our patrons to contribute.
All proceeds will go towards ensuring future shows are cast by people that represent the stories they are telling, paying our actors, and ensuring we have a unique venue that compliments each and every performance.
