Pizza Chapel presents Girls Talking, an original piece about connection, healing & grown-up girlhood. This production was written collaboratively by Lindsey Hertel and Samantha Alarcon. Although this theatrical piece witnesses two women attempting to stage a production of Macbeth, the real heart of the work lies in the story of connection and the healing power of feminine friendships. Using comedy, pastiche, and a touch of absurdism, this work reminds audiences that no (wo)man is an island. Even the most independent among us need to ask for help and the links that bind us to our community are the key to our survival. Moments of connection can be the key to healing.
As their preferred mode of operation, Pizza Chapel will utilize nontraditional staging techniques and storytelling methods to create an original theatre piece that blends the familiar and strange in a manner both immersive and DIY. Due to adult language and subject matter, this performance may not be suitable for all audiences.
Join us at 7:00 pm for cocktail hour. Show begins at 8 PM. Concessions will be available. Please note that the seating for this production is limited so it is highly encouraged that your tickets are reserved in advance.
